Essential criteria
Minimum Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
Minimum 5 years’ experience managing teams.
Experience in sheltered/supported housing or care services.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
IT literate and confident using Microsoft Office.
Full UK driving licence and access to a car.

Board Member
We are seeking expressions of interest from individuals who share our values, with the possibility of joining our Board of Directors. This is an exciting opportunity to join us - we have just launched our new facility, Harberton Hall in South Belfast, adding to our existing four houses and are now looking to the future as we consider our next step. The Board is satisfied that the new facility is leading the way in the creation of fitting, secure and sustainable provision for active older people.
As a charity director you will work with your fellow directors to make the decisions that really matter, including decisions about our finances, activities, and plans for the future.
The Board consists of professional people across various disciplines which the members seek constantly to broaden, strengthen, and renew.
We welcome applications from all sections of our community and, in particular, those with experience in the following areas:
· Business Risk Management
· HR
· Health and Social Care
We ask that you consider the time element for preparing for and attending between 6 to 10 two hour meetings per year, which are usually held early evening. Whilst this is a voluntary role, all out of pocket expenses incurred undertaking the role will be reimbursed.
